eBay Accounting Assistant for Quickbooks
eBay has released a beta version of their new eBay Accounting Assistant . (Beta means eBay is gathering input from the community about their experiences with eBay Accounting Assistant. Accounting Assistant works as a fully functioning application.)
eBay Accounting Assistant is a new tool which enables you to easily export eBay and PayPal transaction data as well as information about eBay fees to QuickBooks.
The eBay Accounting Assistant Beta has the following features:
- Easy downloading of eBay and PayPal transactions and fees.
- An easy-to-use wizard that lets you tell us how you want your data entered into QuickBooks.
- The ability to assign eBay sales transactions to existing customers and items in QuickBooks.
- Automatic matching of eBay sales transactions to existing customers and items in QuickBooks to minimize data entry time. Over time, eBay Accounting Assistant will get smarter about how to match this data to further reduce your time spent doing data entry.
- The ability to apply QuickBooks classes to segment your eBay sales transactions from other types of sales you may have in QuickBooks.
- The ability to export your data to QuickBooks in its complete form so that you don’t have to do additional work within QuickBooks.
eBay Accounting Assistant is FREE for all Stores Sellers and subscribers of Selling Manager, Selling Manager Pro, Seller’s
Assistant Basic or Seller’s Assistant Pro.
eBay Accounting Assistant works with QuickBooks Pro, Premier, or Enterprise editions 2002, 2003, 2004, or 2005.
eBay Accounting Assistant will only download, at most, the last 60 days of eBay Sales, eBay Fees and PayPal Transactions. eBay does not maintain customer sales data for more than 60 days.
