I noted you led off about spammers using trackbacks. While I was approving your comment, the next comment was spam from Italy, the second this week and both from a .info domain. Also, since posting the above, I have been made aware of the <a href="http://www.aylwardfamily.com/content/tbping.asp" title="Wizbang Standalone Trackback Pinger">Wizbang Standalone Trackback Pinger</a>. I used the WizBang pinger today after I linked to someone and forgot to include the trackback. Kind of nice to know that there's a backup system available. Thanks for posting your link, Travis.
