Carnival of the Capitalists
Carnival of the Capitalists is up at Coyote Blog. If you don’t read the Carnival of the Capitalists regularly, you should. The Carnival of the Capitalists is a weekly post of some of the best blog posts on business blogging, finance, economics, government and related capitalistic topics.
You don’t need to read all the posts, although most of the bloggers would welcome the your visit. You should, however; scan the list of topics and choose 3-4 that leap out at you. Click through to those selected posts, read the entire post and add your comments and thoughts.
Think of the Carnival of the Capitalists as a mental buffet. If you don’t like financial topics, then skip that course and load up on business blogging, perhaps with a side of economics.
Three morsels appealed to me this week:
1) In true capitalistic style, VoluntaryXchange calculates the monetary value of his blog as calculated using visitors time and the average US hourly wage.
2) Brian Gongol, host of the COTC submission page, posts that rather than be anti-immigration and isolationist, the better strategy is for Americans to co-opt Latin America. It worked for Rome. This is a rather lengthy post and definitely not something all those good ‘ole boys seeking to defend ‘Merica agin fereigners would care to read. Read Brian’s article and then leave your comments, pro or against, for others to contemplate.
3) Finally, Talking Story introduces us to Hawaiian business terms in a post on “7 More Ways to get the most from Books.
Again, while its easier to click through to the three articles I found interesting, visit this weeks Carnival of the Capitalists, scope out the buffet of ideas, and pick out a few to feed your brain. Then visit the Carnival when appears on a different blog next week. (Like a true carnival, this one also travels.)

Aloha Timothy,

With my aloha,
Rosa Say
